Welcome to Pinehill

Our hobby farm, located in the heart of apple growing country in the township of Hemmingford, Quebec, is the perfect retirement project. The main objective is to use our wool/fleece in a variety of ways.

It is a working farm on a small scale: we make our own hay, grow meat chickens, and have a dozen heritage layers for our eggs. And of course, we keep a small flock of sheep and llamas for fleece.

Pinehill also became the home of Sue Heller’s renowned Woolgathering in 2022. It is with much pleasure that we continue to hold this event, maintaining the spirit in which it was originally conceived and to pay homage to the woman of many talents, who created this event.

Bienvenue à Pinehill

Notre ferme de loisir, située dans le canton de Hemmingford, au Quebec est devenue notre projet de retraite. L’objective principale est d’utiliser la laine/fibre.

On garde un petit troupeau de moutons et des llamas justement pour la laine et fibre. On fait notre propre foin, on a des poules de grain, ainsi que des poules pondeuse d’heritage.

C’est avec un grand plaisir que le Woolgathering, fameuse évènement crée par Mme. Sue Heller, a atterri sur notre ferme en 2022. On essaye le plus possible, d’honorer l’esprit de cette évènement comme Sue Heller l’avait conçu et de payer homage a cette femme de plusieurs talents.
